Bay Area Pizza

Fav SF pizzas, in no particular order:
Giorgio’s (~NY)
Little Star (Chicago)
Caffé BaoNecci (thin)
(Added the last this weekend)
(Zachary’s fans: I Love Zachary’s. But it’s not in SF.)
@danfrakes You should try Bravo and Gaspare’s
@danfrakes Have you ever been to Gianni's in Monterey? Great pie.
@danfrakes When I lived in the city I liked The Sausage Factory and Victors.
@danfrakes Yep. In the Castro and on Polk, respectively.
South Bay favs: Amici’s (NY), Tony & Alba’s (thin), Paxti’s (Chicago–not nearly as good as Zachary’s or Little Star, though)
(Also good in SF, for a NY-pizza dive, is Arinell.)
@danfrakes We like Tony's in North Beach - have you tried their Margherita?
@danfrakes No prob! Bravo is on Mission & Geneva and has thickish crust and Gaspare’s is on Geary in the Avenues and is thin crust.
@danfrakes Defina's make your list?
@danfrakes Have you tried Blue Line yet? They claim to be some kind of Little Star spinoff.
@danfrakes Tried the thin wood fired oven ones at Zuni?
.@danfrakes it's at 1658 Market Street - Market and Rose. Wonderful place, or it was when I was there in April 2000.
@danfrakes Downtown Campbell. And apparently soon in Burlingame, according to their website. http://t.co/NIzT5ErU
